Ayurvedic therapies

Discover the power of Ayurvedic therapies, an integral part of Ayurveda treatment. The therapies offer a holistic approach to achieving balance and overall improvement in physical and mental health.

How to prepare for Ayurvedic therapy and how to act afterwards:

Before therapy:

  • Fill in the questionnaire given to you by the therapist. Please note sensitive, painful areas, varicose veins, etc. In case of menstruation, it is advisable to postpone the therapy until later. Fever and colds are also contraindications.
  • Preparation of medical records: bring all relevant medical information and records of your current condition. This information will help tailor therapy to your individual needs.
  • Do not eat for at least 2 hours prior to therapy: prefer easily digestible foods daily prior to therapy. Avoid heavy foods, which promotes efficient digestion and absorption of the therapeutic elements.
  • Maintain hydration: Make sure you are adequately hydrated, but do not drink a lot of fluids just before therapy. This will ensure better absorption of the healing oils and substances used during therapy.

After therapy:

  • Relax: After therapy, allow yourself time to rest and relax. Avoid strenuous activities to allow your body to fully absorb the healing effects of the therapy.
  • Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to promote detoxification and eliminate waste products from the body.
  • Beware of the cold after therapy: If you are having a head massage, we recommend wearing a head covering after therapy, especially in colder weather, to retain heat and maximize the beneficial effects of the massage.
