Salt cave
The salt cave in the RAJ zdravia is a combination of three types of salts, Himalayan and Dead Sea sea salt on the walls and rock salt used on the floor. To evaporate the salt more efficiently, two waterfalls and a halogenerator are placed in the cave. Experts say that a 45-minute stay in the salt cave is equivalent to a two-day stay by the sea.
The main effects of a stay in a salt cave:
- Help with respiratory diseases: allergies, asthma, bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, sinusitis
- Help with skin diseases: acne, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis
- Revitalisation: staying in the salt cave relieves depression, helps with sleep disorders, helps with stress relief
Although the natural environment of the salt cave is itself hypoallergenic and free of bacteria, the salt cave in the RAJ zdravia is equipped with germicidal lamps, which perfectly cleanse the environment after each treatment and get rid of bacteria or any microorganisms.
Relaxing music and ceiling lighting in the form of a starry sky complete the atmosphere.

- Entrance to the salt cave is with shoe covers for adults and socks for children.
- It is advisable for young children to bring a spare pair of socks/clothes if they get too “salty.”
- Children should wash their hands after being in the salt cave. Some children may have an allergic reaction to salt on their skin if they play in it too long.
- Parents are cautioned to keep an eye on children (do not damage walls, etc.) and if children are playing with salt, it is not appropriate for them to catch their eyes with their hands.
- We recommend letting the children rest on a deckchair and listen to stories.
